News -December 14, 2007 [T-Toe]
-November 13, 2007 [T-Toe] The Clan had its 1st Team Warfare League (TWL) match on the limited Ladder, for result and recap see the TF2 Matches page. We have also had some scrims, thanks to all have have played. ( ><>, ohnoes, BRIDGE, eXc) -October 9, 2007 [T-Toe] The Orange Box has been released. [CA] members have started coming out of the wood work and playing currently taking role call for upcoming scrims and sharping our rusty skills, after a 7 year layoff. -April 23, 2000 [Darkwulf] The web calendar project is finally
finished, check out the link in the Matches
section or go directly to our play schedule here.
This ambitious project should help us keep our playing time budgeted a
little better.
-April 21, 2000 [Jones] Clan Aberration's foray into Q3F began last night. Visit the Q3F Matches section to read the report for our first game. Sadly, we were told today that the OGL Domination ladder will be taken down. We are now the University of Maine's premier presence in the modern FPS community in only Q3F, UT CTF, and UT DM. And right when we were challenging number one! -April 18, 2000 [Darkwulf] Lots of changes to the website today as I implement "Quake3TF Compliance", upgrades acknowledging the games we play other than UT CTF, the foremost being Q3F. The challenge form has been updated to accomodate new games and maps, match history has a Q3F provision which will be captained by Jones, and numerous other minor changes. Progress on the web calendar for match scheduling progresses and implementation is in sight for the end of next week. -April 13, 2000 [Kliff_dor] Hey Y'all... Here's a bit of a fun little update for the "big doin's" in CA land. It seems that the once great Messiah[CA], then [KEG]Messiah, then Messiah{GF} is now teaming up to kick some ass with Nomortal{GF} in the new 2v2 DM OGL ladder.. Whoo hoo go Messiah. Hawkeye and myself joined the 2v2 ladder, so look out for the soon to be rising [CA] Special Olympics team as well as Slinky-Toe[CA] the Bornslinky/t-toe connection. In other big news, this silly Quake craze has been hitting the wing, resulting in many hours of Q3F practicing. Needless to say, [CA] is dominating the Q3F OGL ladder with a quick jump to the top, where hopefully we shall remain. Come one, Come all... challenge us if you think yourselves worthy. -April 10, 2000 [Corrosion] I just put the finishing touches on the DM match summary section, as you will see there isn't a lot there quite yet. It looks like it won't be long before the Domination Match Summary section will be up, authored by Kliff Dor. Additionally we may soon have a Weekly Rants and Raves Section Co-Authored by our very own Room 203 pair Bornslinky and T-Toe. They are already talking about the first week's headlines possibly being "What Clan will Messiah join this week?" or "The highlights of CA's weekend 4 beer minimum tournament!!". -April 7, 2000 [Darkwulf] Not a lot of news posted lately but it's been a very busy time for the clan, with more to come. Redid the map list on the challenge form to include more maps we actually want to play and less we didn't. Played our first Domination game and had lots of fun, though it really didn't count since the opposition was on modems in the UK. Changes to the site coming soon, including a Deathmatch Match summary section authored by Corrosion. -March 15, 2000 [Darkwulf] The clan page has benefited much over the first few days of spring break from boredom-induced productivity on my part, the latest installmet of which is a page detailing the long and proud history of Clan Aberration. -March 14, 2000 [Darkwulf] The new challenge form is complete and fully functional. If you'd like to set up a scrim with Clan Aberration just go to our Challenges page and fill out the form! You'll hear back from us within a day or so. -March 13, 2000[Darkwulf] Lots of news since last update. We have continued our rigorous play schedule in the OGl ladder, clawing our way up to 40th from somewhere around 80 with 4 wins and one lonely loss. All our trials and tribulations are detailed in the Matches section. Also, I've been learning Perl and have written us a counter (yes I could have gotten one somewhere but I wanted to write my own). Coming attractions: Split up match summaries into DM and CTF, possibly scrimmages and matches as well, a real challenge form, and a history of the clan page. -February 16, 2000 [Darkwulf] CA Played and won it's first official OGL match this evening. Details in the Matches section. The next challenge has already been placed!! -February 9, 2000 [Darkwulf] Played another great scrimmage today, this one vs. POK. Check out the full story in the match summary section. -February 8, 2000 [Darkwulf] Big news day today: T-Toe signed us up for the OGL and Teamplay.Net UT CTF leagues, so we're now ready to do some serious battle with some of the best clans out there. Since we're now a member of the OGL, we found we needed a logo, so I threw something together. More graphics for the site still to come! -February 6, 2000 [Darkwulf] Little late on this update, but CA played NWA, the Northwest Assassins, 20th ranked in the OGL CTF league Thursday the 3rd. Just an informal scrimmage with both rounds played on our server, despite the NWA members (who are from the Pacific Northwest) having lousy pings. They were great to play against and we hope to play them again. Read all about it in the match summary section! -February 2, 2000 [Darkwulf] The clan web page has been expanded, the match summaries section is now up and a page for challenges to be issued is up, with a nice CGI-based challenge form coming soon. Other things in the works: A counter, a clan logo, some actual graphics, personal pages for each clan member, and more exciting stuff! -February 1, 2000 [Darkwulf] The Clan web page is finally published. Doesn't look so good right now, but it'll get better I promise. :) The Matches section isn't functional just yet, but that will be fixed as soon as tomorrow if we're lucky. Of course nobody will actually hit the page before then so I'll stop now. |
